John Hilton was born and raised in Sumter, South Carolina.  He attended the University of South Carolina’s Moore School of Business, double majoring in Real Estate and Finance and graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors.  John entered the real estate business in 2006 with ERA Wilder Realty.  In 2007, John began working for Senter & Associates, focusing on shopping center development and retail leasing.  In 2008, John opened his own firm, Hilton and Company.  At that time John was also accepted to attend the University of South Carolina’s School of Law; he will be graduating with honors in May 2011.  In 2009, John and Joe Hawk decided to open a partnership, and Hilton Hawk & Company, LLC was born.  John focuses on large land tracts, investment deals, and development projects.  His field experience and his education have equipped him with cutting edge information to represent you on your next transaction.

John is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying deer, duck, turkey and quail hunting, and loves spending time on the Santee River system.  He is a Christian and a member of First Presbyterian Church.
